The facts about the $69 million Wills Point ISD Growth Management Bond.
Expand & renovate every school to manage our fast growth.
One of our top priorities is preparing for the 1,000 additional new students enrolling in Wills Point ISD over the next 10 years and ensuring we maintain our small class sizes. If approved by voters, the Growth Management Bond will fund new classrooms and instructional space for fine arts, band, CTE, STEAM, ag science, and other programs.
Provide every school with enhanced security technology.
Students and teachers on each campus will be provided with safety and security enhancements, including a new, more secure entrance for Wood Intermediate, and other capital improvements that assist with 24-hour monitoring.
Increase CTE & Ag Science instruction space at high school.
The bond package will provide for the expansion of instructional space for our CTE and Ag Science programs, allow for additional offerings, and provide more hands-on learning opportunities for students preparing for college, seeking career certification programs, or training for a job after graduation.
